China on Tuesday successfully conducted a trial run for a high-thrust test stand for liquid-propellant rocket engine at a test center in Tongchuan, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
The test bench is so far the largest for liquid-propellant rocket engine in Asia.
The successful trial marks that two stations of the test bench had been equipped with a load capacity of 700-metric-ton thrust.
It will facilitate China's liquid power research and test, providing a strong support for the implementation of the country's major space projects including heavy-lift carrier rocket, manned lunar landing and deep space exploration.
