China's first home-built cruise ship conducts lifeboat release mechanism tests

Adora Magic City, China's first domestically made cruise ship completed　its lifeboat release mechanism tests on Saturday.

This important safety test was　used to verify the function of the lifeboats and ensure the safe evacuation of personnel on board in the event of an emergency.　

The cruise ship　is equipped with 20 lifeboats.

The cabinet in each boat is stocked with flares, emergency food, and drinking water. The cruise ship　is scheduled to be undocked in Shanghai on June 6.
