Beach market in S China's Hainan to boost night economy

Video captured night views of the international beach market at Baishamen Beach, located on Haidian Island in Haikou, south China's Hainan Province. 　

It covered an area of approximately 60,000 square meters and called for 820 vendors from home and abroad, featuring different cultures from all around the world. Intangible cultural heritage and international cultural exchange activities will boost the city's night economy. 　

This permanent market is planned to open this Saturday. It is expected to receive 6 million tourists per year and create about 3,000 jobs for local residents.
