China-Vietnam road passenger transport service launched

The road passenger transport route between Jinshuihe port in southwest China's Yunnan Province and Maluthang border gate in Vietnam's Lai Chau was opened to traffic on Tuesday. 　

After passing customs declarations　and border checks, 28 passengers departed from Jin Jinshuihe port in China. They arrived in Lai Chau in Vietnam, marking the opening of the international road passenger service. 　

The route will help satisfy the travel demand of border residents, promote tourism on both sides and facilitate the development of border trade between the two countries.
