Bill Gates, the founder of the Gates Foundation, received an interview with China New Service.
"There are certain lots of lessons from this pandemic. One of those is that we need to create better diagnostics, better drugs, better vaccines, and have those on standby, including lots of capacity for making those things," he said.
"We have such challenges in global health. And so I think we should apply our resources to areas like malaria, tuberculosis, and all the other things that create these huge health and equities. I think that should be the priority. We should make a lot of progress there before we look at going to Mars," he added.
