The water level of the Poyang Lake, the first largest freshwater lake in China, is gradually rebounding.
Due to recent rainfall, the water level at a critical monitoring point of Poyang Lake in east China's Jiangxi Province rose to 13.16 meters on Sunday morning.
The Jiangxi meteorological service predicts that the water level of Poyang Lake will continue to rise. The Poyang Lake is the water source for aquaculture, agricultural irrigation, and residents' drinking water, or the hub of waterway shipping in Jiangxi.
