The "golden waterfall" landscape appeared on Sunday at the Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area in Chongzuo City, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The Detian Transnational Waterfall is located on the border of China and Vietnam. Affected by the large-scale heavy rainfall around the Dragon Boat Festival in south China and the rising water of the upper reaches of the Guichun River, the Detian Transnational Waterfall ushered in this year's wet season. With the rapids of the waterfall scouring the riverbed and the waterfall roaring from sediment flow, a "golden waterfall" spectacle was formed. Located in the upper reaches of the Guichun River, which borders China and Vietnam, the Detian Transnational Waterfall is connected to the neighboring Ban Gioc Waterfall in Vietnam. It is the first transnational waterfall in Asia and the fourth largest in the world.
