The water level of Poyang Lake, China's largest freshwater lake located in east China's Jiangxi Province, has risen by above 3 meters in the past week, thanks to rainfall and water replenishment from the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
The water level at a key monitoring point of Poyang Lake rose to 15.12 meters on Thursday.
Aerial video shows that the water area of Poyang Lake has been enlarged. Also, the exposed river beach has disappeared, and the karst cave has been submerged in the water.
