(ECNS) -- As New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins started his first visit to China, Mike Dawson, president of the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand China Friendship Society expressed his expectations for further strengthening the bilateral relations in an interview with China News Network.
"New Zealand has every reason to believe that the successes arising out of how the New Zealand-China diplomatic relationships were properly handled and developed can be an excellent model for Pacific nations to adopt," said Dawson.
He hopes that the prime minister's visit will further strengthen the diplomatic relations, the friendship, understanding and goodwill between the two sides.
