Wild Asian elephants play in the mud in southwest China

The police office at the border police station of　Mengla County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, received a report that two wild Asian elephants had fallen into a pit.

The police immediately rushed to the scene with officials from the local forestry and grassland bureau　and Asian elephant observers. They found that the two elephants were not trapped in the mud pit　but played there.
