Air-raid shelter helps people beat the heat in SW China's Chengdu

The heat wave has swept across parts of China this summer. 　

In addition to shopping malls and libraries, many residents were spotted enjoying the cool air of air-raid shelters in Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan Province on Monday. 　

The No.1 Air-Raid Shelter, built in 1965, witnessed a group of local residents cooling off. 　 The local government also prepared water dispensers, newspaper racks and medical kits inside the air-raid shelter.
