China's Guizhou ramps up efforts to boost green energy production

Southwest China's Guizhou Province has seen a robust expansion in the new-energy sector amid efforts to ramp up energy production. Seven clean energy projects have been put into production, with an average annual power generation capacity of 600 million kilowatt-hours.

Capable of meeting the annual electricity consumption of about 40,000 households, the projects can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 103 million metric tons annually.
