Construction of the Beijing sub-center comprehensive transportation hub is underway. Upon completion, it is expected to become Asia's largest of its kind and help meet the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region's transportation needs.
The construction project is expected to be completed by the end of December 2024 and put into use in 2025.
In the hub, floor B3 is designed as the track area. B2 will be the waiting space and transfer on the intercity rail transit system. B1 will connect the urban comprehensive development with the underground transportation system, according to Zhang Dengke, deputy general manager of Beijing Sub-Civic Center Project Management Co Ltd.
