Tourists flocked to the Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area in Chongzuo, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on Saturday.

A festival about visiting the Detian Transnational Waterfall and experiencing Chinese and Vietnamese customs and cultural tourism also kicked off. It attracted tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the China-Vietnam border, visit the customs exhibition, and taste the particular food from the two countries.

Pool party, bubble party, and other interactive links make the scene full of laughter.

Located in the upper reaches of the Guichun River, which borders China and Vietnam, the Detian Transnational Waterfall is connected to the neighboring Ban Gioc Waterfall in Vietnam. It is the first transnational waterfall in Asia and the fourth largest in the world. Focusing on tourists' immersive experience, the event integrates seven new experiences, presenting tourists with a different China-Vietnam border travel.

During the summer vacation, cross-border tourism in Guangxi continues to heat up. Chongzuo, Fangchenggang and other border cities in Guangxi have ushered in a hot tourism season. The Dongxing Port in Fangchenggang witnessed many Chinese and Vietnamese people pass through customs on the same day. Dongxing National Gate Scenic Area also attracted a large number of tourists. According to the statistics of the Dongxing Immigration Inspection Station, in the first half of this year, the number of inbound and outbound tourists at Dongxing Port reached 1.53million, including 11,200 inbound and outbound Chinese tour groups and nearly 4,000 Vietnamese tour groups.
