The Fuxing intelligent high-speed trains, specially built for the 19th Asian Games, rolled off the production line on Friday in Changchun, northeast China's Jilin Province. During the Asian Games and Asian Para Games, the trains will be put into rail transit operation services in Hangzhou and five co-host cities -- Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, and Huzhou.
From Hangzhou to the five co-host cities, the trains will pass through many bridges and tunnels, so the high-speed trains need to constantly slow down and speed up. Overcoming the bumpy feeling caused by speed changes has become the top priority of train design. It is reported that the Hangzhou Asian Games-themed Fuxing high-speed trains use a series of the latest scientific and technological achievements of China's high-speed rail, and the water in the cup will only shake slightly during high-speed driving.
In terms of energy saving, the Fuxing intelligent high-speed trains adopt the bionic design of "Falcon", which can greatly reduce air resistance and is expected to save energy consumption by 10%. With the lightweight train body and the overall energy-saving technology, a single train will save 1.8 million kWh of electricity annually.
It is reported that the trains will be transferred to Shanghai for trial tests, and then arrive in Hangzhou.
