Traditional horse racing festival ignites young riders in Nagqu of Tibet

The Nagqu Horse Racing Festival, the grandest annual event in Nagqu, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, was in the final on Friday. 　

A total of 48 young riders competed during the traditional horse race event, with the youngest participant only 6 years old.　

The prize money of the event was particularly attractive, with the champion earning 32,000 yuan (about $4,400).
