Taking off at 8 a.m.(Beijing Time) from Xinjiang's Kashgar Airport, flight CZ3360 landed at Guangdong's Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 2:30 p.m., marking the launch of direct flights between Kashgar and Guangzhou.
Launched by China Southern Airlines, the direct flights from Guangzhou to Kashgar Prefecture in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region are scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The single-trip time between the two places has been reduced to 6.5 hours, with no need to transfer in Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
The opening of direct flights will further promote interactive exchanges in the fields of economy, trade, culture, tourism and other fields between the two regions.
