Many South Koreans gathered in front of the Japanese Embassy in South Korea at 2 p.m. on Tuesday local time to condemn Japan's decision to discharge nuclear-contaminated wastewater into the sea.
People holding banners denounced the Japanese government's discharge plan and urged the South Korean government to clear its opposition.
Some lawmakers of South Korea's main opposition Democratic Party also came in front of the embassy and denounced Japan's decision to discharge nuclear-contaminated water into the sea. They requested the Japanese government to withdraw the discharge plan.
