Japan started releasing nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean on Thursday.
Many Japanese people gathered in front of the headquarters of the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) in Tokyo to protest against Japan's decision to release nuclear-contaminated wastewater.
The people want the Japanese government to understand their demands that the consequences and costs of releasing nuclear-contaminated water into the sea are unbearable for fishermen. Some people gave short speeches expressing their concerns that the Japanese people would no longer be able to eat safe seafood.
