Taipei mayor Chiang Wan-an on Tuesday led a delegation on a visit to Shanghai for an annual city forum.
Chiang visited Yuyuan Garden on Tuesday evening. He tasted osmanthus cake, a well-known specialty in Shanghai. "The osmanthus cake tastes good. It got an osmanthus fragrance," said Chiang.
Chiang also enjoyed the works made by craftsmen in the Yuyuan Garden. "The details on the bottle are clearly drawn," he said.
Chiang watched the production process of Chinese paper-cutting, which was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. A craftsman then presented Chiang with his portrait paper-cutting.
Chiang on Wednesday visited a model community in Shanghai. Invited by locals, Chiang played basketball and interacted with residents at the community sports center.
