As of Tuesday, the volume of inbound and outbound passengers at Daxing International Airport this year had exceeded one million, according to the border inspection at the airport.
"Facing the rising inbound and outbound passenger volume, staff from the Border Inspection Station at Daxing Airport learned the peak passenger flow in advance, and scientifically deployed police force to enhance the efficiency of inspection," said Li Wenpeng, staff member at the Border Inspection Station of Daxing Airport.
Li reminded travelers to be fully aware of the immigration policy at the destination before traveling. "Passengers should apply for travel documents in advance, and ensure they are genuine and valid. It is necessary to reserve enough time for customs clearance," he added.
Since the restoration of international airline routes on Jan. 17, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at Daxing International Airport has been growing rapidly. The monthly passenger flow has increased from 10,000 at the beginning of the resumption of flights to nearly 300,000.
