Giant panda Mang Zai celebrates 12th birthday in Chongqing

The Chongqing Zoo threw a birthday party on Monday to celebrate giant panda Mang Zai's 12th birthday. 　

Zoo keepers prepared a special birthday cake for Mang Zai with fresh ingredients including watermelon, bamboo, apples and grapes. 　

Mang Zai, a female panda born at Chongqing Zoo in 2011, was given the name collected online, symbolizing liveliness, cuteness and health. 　

There are 22 giant pandas in Chongqing Zoo, and 5 among them are cubs of Mang Zai.
