A stamp-collecting event organized by Wuhan Metro Group kicked off on Monday, allowing tourists and local people to collect stamps at six subway stations in the city.
The six stations were chosen due to the nearby landmark buildings in Wuhan, including the Guanggu Pedestrian Street, the Yellow Crane Tower, and the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge.
Tourists from across China took pictures at the scenic spots to complete their checklist. The subway is not only a means of transportation, but also represents a city and connects the culture of a city, according to Zhang Qi, member of staff at Wuhan Metro Operation.
