The Dongjiakou Crude Oil Commercial Reserve Base (Third phase) in Qingdao Port, east China's Shandong Province, has been completed and put into operation.
So far, a total of 5.2 million cubic meters of crude oil storage tanks and supporting facilities have been completed and put into operation in the three phases of the Dongjiakou Port Area Crude Oil Commercial Reserve Base project.
The oil depot areas with the largest single capacity in China's coastal ports have transitioned from engineering construction to the production and operation stage. After the project is operational, the designed annual storage capacity of the completed crude oil depot in the Dongjiakou Port Area will exceed 11.06 million cubic meters.
China's first 270,000 cubic meters LNG storage tank has been fully completed in Qingdao. Once put into operation, it will significantly enhance the natural gas supply security in North China.
The terminal now is advancing various preparations before putting the storage tank into operation, and striving to join the ranks of ten-million-ton LNG receiving terminals, thereby becoming China's largest LNG receiving terminal with the highest annual transfer capacity during the same period.
