A passenger aircraft carrying 213 passengers from Almaty, Kazakhstan, landed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport in south China's Hainan Province at 8:36 a.m. on Saturday, marking the official resumption of the Sanya-Almaty route.
It is the first international route in Central Asia to resume in Sanya this year.
The route is operated by SCAT Airlines, which regularly operates flights between Sanya and Almaty every Saturday.
