(ECNS)-- The Jinan-Weifang Expressway, China's first zero-carbon expressway, has been inspected and opened to traffic.
Spanning 162 kilometers, the expressway connects Shandong Province's Jinan and Weifang City.
This highway has a comprehensive layout of photovoltaic and storage systems, which can achieve power self-sufficiency in service areas and tunnels.
The expressway will help promote the rapid development of provincial economic connectivity and the Shandong expressway network.
