Long-nosed monkey baby makes public debut in Guangdong

Sen Yi, a long-nosed (proboscis monkey) monkey baby met the public with its mother Jasin at Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, on Saturday. Sen Yi was born on June 14, 2023. It is the 16th proboscis monkey to have been bred in the park. 　

The proboscis monkey or long-nosed monkey is an arboreal monkey with an unusually large nose and a reddish-brown skin color. Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou is home to 62 species of primates, making it the most extensive primate conservation base in the world.
