Flag-raising ceremonies held across China to celebrate National Day

Flag-raising ceremonies　to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China were held across China on Sunday. Helicopters carrying　the national flags flew　over　Huangpu River in Shanghai. 　

The night before, many cities held light shows in advance to celebrate the motherland's birthday.
