Volunteers on Thursday scrubbed the floor in seconds to ensure the 19th Asian Games run smoothly in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province.
"Precisely position. Lean forward. We have to scrub the floor in eight to ten seconds," said Wang Yuxuan, a volunteer at the 19th Asian Games.
"First of all, we can't interfere with our athletes. Secondly, there are live cameras around us, so we have to bend down and hold our handkerchiefs with both hands," said Wang, "One side of the knee is slightly bent. However, we can't land on the ground, because there may be some different countries' beliefs or other aspects involved."
"We go into the field one person at a time and scrub the floor about 150 times. We can't hold up without strong physical fitness," said coach Cao Fangping.
