(ECNS) -- During an exclusive interview with China News Network, Erik Solheim, former UN Environment Executive Director and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations noted that many important projects have happened thanks to the BRI, therefore benefiting people all over the planet.
In addition, Solheim said that BRI's energy investment in solar, wind energy and hydropower makes BRI a massive opportunity for global green investment. Meanwhile, China's leadership in 5G and AI can benefit BRI countries through investments in these areas.
