The Lingdingyang Bridge, a key part of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan link in south China's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, began deck paving of its steel bridge on Wednesday with 25,772 square meters of left span paving construction area completed on the first day.
The deck paving area of Lingdingyang Bridge exceeds 100,000 square meters, with 12 functional groups performing their respective duties during the construction process.
Lingdingyang Bridge, with a main span of 1,666 meters and a tower standing 270 meters high, is a major component of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge complex that will connect two major cities on the Pearl River Delta. It will be put into operation in 2024.
