The American Museum of Natural History in New York held a media preview event of "The Secret World of Elephants" on Wednesday.
The exhibition, which will be open to the general public starting from November 13, reveals new science about both ancient and modern elephants, including elephants' extraordinary minds and senses, why they're essential to the health of their ecosystems, and inspiring efforts to overcome threats to their survival.
The exhibition will offer visitors the opportunity to see a full-scale model of a woolly mammoth as well as models of African elephants and small dwarf elephants, learn about what elephants eat, touch an elephant's tooth, listen to elephant calls and more.
