The orienteering competition of China's military academies kicked off in Xishan Town, Nanchang, east China's Jiangxi Province.
About 260 people, including 180 participants, from 20 military academies participated in this five-day competition.
The competition included events such as group basic skills competition, individual basic skills competition, and combat application squad competition. The competition site was a jungle and hilly area with complex terrain, lakes and rice paddies scattered in between.
