A one-armed young single father in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, has gone viral online.
He shared his daily experience of selling stir-fried noodles on short video platforms and received favorable comments from netizens.
Yang Sulin, 31 years old, previously lost an arm and half of the other due to the earthquake. After divorcing his wife, he has been living alone with his daughter for four years. Encouraged by his family and friends, he set up a stall to make money and gained a total of more than 2 million fans on several short video platforms.
Yang said that he was not showing his arm to gain sympathy, but to serve as a role model to his child, and also to people who are still in the darkness of disability, hoping that they can regain their confidence in life.
