Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province has a cold winter climate with abundant ice and snow resources, which has become a popular ice-snow tourism destination in recent years.
Many skiers skied in the snow at the Yabuli Ski Resort in Shangzhi City. Since its opening on Nov. 9, the number of skiing tourists in the scenic spot has reached a record high.
Walking into the scenic area of Snow Town, the snow scenery, such as "snow mushroom" and "snow cake," attracted tourists. At night, more than 3,000 red lanterns glowed with the snow, just like a fairy tale world. The scenic spot has received more than 200,000 visitors since it opened on Nov. 10.
Workers collected ice blocks from the Songhua River in Harbin, which have been prepared for the upcoming Harbin Ice and Snow World. It is reported that the overall planning area of this year's Harbin Ice and Snow World is 810,000 square meters, which is the largest ever. An ice and snow park integrating ice and snow arts and activities will be created for tourists from all over the world.
