The 57th annual Cavalcade of Lights was held on Saturday local time at the City Hall in Toronto, Canada, to welcome Christmas and the New Year.
Many people took photos with a large Chinese dragon lantern while visiting the light show, making the lantern the most striking spot. The eye-catching, sizeable Chinese dragon lantern welcomed the coming Year of Dragon.
Visitors were also attracted by the 17-meter Christmas tree in front of the City Hall. The lighting installation looked like a time tunnel. There were some colorful spherical lanterns with Chinese characteristics around the Christmas tree. These lanterns are from Zigong City in southwest China's Sichuan Province. They make a unique addition to Toronto's winter night.
