Hulunbuir, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, experienced a widespread temperature drop on Tuesday, with temperatures in many places lower than minus 40 degrees Celsius, reaching the "extremely cold" weather.
A frozen fog was formed in the city, causing visibility to be extremely low. Cars drove slowly in the mist. Pedestrians wore cotton clothes, hats, and gloves, "fully armed" to resist the cold.
