Hong Kong and Zhuhai airports start transfer service

The "Fly from Hong Kong via Zhuhai" policy, which took effect on Tuesday, allows travelers arriving at Zhuhai Jinwan Airport on the Chinese Mainland to travel via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to Hong Kong International Airport to fly to overseas destinations without going through immigration in Hong Kong. 　

The same service applies in reverse, with people flying into Hong Kong from overseas being able to transfer to mainland cities via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Zhuhai Airport without the need to undergo Hong Kong immigration procedures. 　

To ensure smooth implementation of the policy, a designated channel has been set up at the checkpoint to inspect passengers. 　

Regarding the security check at the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, customs staff optimized security check procedures, further improving efficiency. 　

With the implementation of the "Fly from Hong Kong via Zhuhai" policy, the HZMB Zhuhai Highway Port has also become the only port on the mainland with direct access to the Hong Kong International Airport. This will facilitate the deepening of airport business cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, innovate the modes of airport cooperation between Zhuhai and Hong Kong, and achieve resource integration and complementarity.
