18-meter-high snowman makes public appearance in NE China's Harbin

A giant snowman made its public appearance on Friday in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. 　

The snowman, 18 meters in height and made with around 2,000 cubic meters of snow, has become a landmark of Harbin. Wearing a red hat and a scarf, the giant snowman beckoned a throng of locals and tourists from across China.
