People in earthquake-hit areas have been provided with hot meals with meat and vegetables after a 6.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Jishishan County in northwest China's Gansu Province at midnight Monday.
On Tuesday evening, firefighters of Gansu's Forest Firefighting Department cooked mutton soup and steamed buns for quake-affected people at a makeshift camp in Dahejia Town, Jishishan County in Gansu Province.
On Tuesday noon, volunteers also prepared beef noodle soup for local residents at a makeshift shelter in Jishishan County.
"We donated 500 kilograms of beef and 50 bags of flour to help everyone get through the difficult time," said Ma Zhongming, head of a private company.
