On Wednesday, China's large civil unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Wing Loong-2H was deployed to support emergency communications again after a 6.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Jishishan County in northwest China's Gansu Province at midnight Monday.
It helped establish an airborne communication network and ensure stable public signal coverage. It also sent real-time images, voice and data of the quake-hit areas, supporting relief work and ensuring effective rescue operations.
The large UAV has rushed to support emergency rescue work for two consecutive days, accumulating more than 20 hours of flight time.
