Li Zhenfang, an 80-year-old craftsman from Jinzhou, north China's Hebei Province, is widely known locally for his handmade horse-drawn carts.
Hundreds of components are needed when making a horse-drawn cart, such as shaft, coach and saddle, and it requires dozens of handwork procedures, according to Li.
Growing up learning the craft of carpentry, Li has made over 10 handcrafted wooden carts with traditional workmanship, which have been purchased and collected by buyers from multiple provinces in China, including Liaoning, Jilin and Shandong provinces.
