Haikou to Osaka flight route resumes operation

A passenger plane departed from the Haikou Meilan International Airport in south China's Hainan Province on Wednesday, and will land in Osaka, Japan after transferring to Shanghai.　

It marks the first international flight route opened by the Meilan airport in 2024, and the first flight route to Japan resumed in Hainan　since 2020.　

The resumption of the flight route is expected to promote economic, trade and cultural exchanges as well as tourism in the three cities.
