A China-invested dual-fuel ro-ro ship, carrying 5,000 Chinese brands vehicles and machineries, set sail from Shanghai for Europe on Wednesday.
Built for SAIC Anji Logistics, the vessel, named SAIC Anji Sincerity, is 200 meters long, 38 meters wide and 13 stories high, with a displacement of 40,000 tons and a capacity of 7,600 passenger cars. It is the world's largest LNG dual-fuel ro-ro ship.
The vessel can reduce the carbon emissions by about 30 percent, meeting the emission requirements of some developed countries and regions, including North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
