South China's island province of Hainan has become a popular travel destination for international tourists as the province allows nationals from 59 countries to enter visa-free and resume the operation of various international flight routes.
While indulging in the sunshine, golden beaches and the tropical features of Sanya, foreign tourists are also keen on Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment.
As more foreign tourists travel to Sanya, local hotels and catering companies have been optimizing and upgrading. Restaurants and stores are offering signboards, menus, and signs in various languages such as Chinese, English, and Russian.
To overcome language barriers, staff members from travel agencies and TCM organizations who speak fluent foreign languages provide assistance in local hotels.
