Diplomatic envoys from some 40 countries recently enjoyed a fashion show featuring “Fragrant Cloud” silk, a Chinese intangible cultural heritage, atop a skyscraper in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province.
The select silk, made with a dozen steps of washing, boiling and sun-baking, is said to be worth its weight in gold. Visitors enjoyed the “Fragrant Cloud” silk in the sky, with a bustling metropolis below. What an experience!
