Beijing recently launched the construction of the first batch of "friendly communities" for delivery drivers to optimize the driver's working experience and facilitate residents' lives.
At the entrance of a "friendly community" in Changping District, a "friendly map for delivery drivers" was posted on the bulletin board, indicating the entrances and exits, charging cabinets for electric bicycles, parking areas, and resting stations in the community. In a rest station of more than two hundred square meters, there was not only equipped with a central air conditioner, free charging area, shared workstations, and cleaning tools, but also provided free medicine, refrigerators, and microwaves for delivery drivers.
Outside of work, delivery drivers can make contributions to community governance. They can report safety hazards in the community by taking photos.
