Giant panda cubs recently sent Chinese New Year greetings from China.
Staff members held giant panda cubs during a group appearance event at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province.
Giant pandas at Chongqing Zoo extended their Chinese New Year's greetings. They feasted on fruits and bamboo, symbolizing a bountiful harvest.
Giant panda Mang Can Can, the fifth cub of giant panda Mang Zai, also made an appearance for the Chinese New Year celebration.
Four giant pandas were spotted gathering around a square table, leisurely enjoying the feast.
The keepers in Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park prepared "Cantonese cuisine" like "roast chicken", "phoenix claw" and "crab" made of bamboo shoots and carrots. Giant panda Mei Qing ate them with relish.
At the same time, the zoo designed a number of decorations for the Year of the Dragon in panda houses to create a festive atmosphere.
