As one of the series activities of "Happy Spring Festival" for the Year of the Loong (Chinese Dragon), the Youth Ice Spring Festival Gala was held in Toronto, Canada on Saturday local time.
This is the second consecutive year that the Canada China Sports and Cultural Exchange Center and the North American Youth Ice Hockey Federation have hosted the Toronto Youth Ice Spring Festival Gala.
Many participating teams and individuals have won Canadian national championships of figure skating or won excellent results in international competitions.
With the music of Chinese style, performers performed dragon dance, lion dance, and Chinese classical dance on the ice.
Children's dances, Hanfu shows, and Peking Opera characters also appeared on the ice one by one. In figure skating and ice dancing, young dancers jumped and switched formations under the spotlight.
The performance was preceded by a junior hockey match.
