On Wednesday, a series of Shehuo performances were held in Xining, northwest China's Qinghai Province, to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Shehuo is a time-honored festivity during the celebration of Chinese festivals in the forms of dragon dance, stilt walking, drum playing, and other folk performances.
Check out this video to see the kids mimic the Monkey King and Eight-Precept Pig, characters in the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West.
